No. Aafiyah Care is a GP-led primary care clinic. Samples are processed by accredited Dubai reference laboratories, which keeps the analytical work with high-volume accredited platforms while the clinical judgement — what to test and what the numbers mean — stays with your doctor.

Routine haematology and chemistry — full blood count, kidney and liver function, glucose, HbA1c, lipids, thyroid, ferritin and CRP — are usually resulted the same day when the sample is taken before around 11am. Hormone, autoimmune, allergy and culture testing typically takes 24–72 hours.

Yes. A DHA-licensed nurse visits homes, offices and hotels across Dubai; the home visit fee is AED 250 plus the cost of the tests. Clinic draws at Unit G09, Churchill Executive Towers, Business Bay carry no visit fee.

No referral is needed. A GP still reviews which panel is appropriate before sampling — a short conversation usually removes markers that would not change anything and adds one or two that matter for your symptoms.

Fast 8–12 hours, water only, for glucose, HbA1c, lipids and most full screens. Thyroid, vitamin D, B12, ferritin and blood count do not need fasting. Keep taking regular medication unless your doctor has told you otherwise, and tell us what you take at booking.

Your GP calls you directly, explains what the result means alongside your symptoms and history, and arranges the next step — treatment, a repeat test at the right interval, or a specialist referral. Clinically urgent findings are called through the same day.

Aafiyah is not insurance-based, so there is no direct billing. We issue a fully coded invoice with the supporting medical documentation so you can submit a reimbursement claim to your insurer yourself.

Yes. Bring or send a recent report and a GP will review it in a consultation, compare it against previous results where you have them, and tell you what it changes. Repeat sampling is only suggested where the timing or the panel leaves the question unanswered.
