What does the cholesterol blood test measure?+
A full lipid profile measures Total cholesterol, LDL ('bad') cholesterol, HDL ('good') cholesterol, triglycerides, and the LDL/HDL ratio. We also calculate non-HDL cholesterol and (on request) ApoB and Lp(a) for advanced cardiovascular risk assessment.
