Amar is the founder of Aafiyah Care — built from a simple belief that healthcare in Dubai should feel personal, unhurried and genuinely British in standard. He set out to create a clinic where one doctor knows you for life, where the team takes responsibility for your health, and where families are treated with the care he'd want for his own.
With a background spanning healthcare operations and patient experience, Amar leads Aafiyah's vision — from the clinic in Business Bay to homecare across Dubai, and the long-term care packages that quietly look after the people who matter most.

Dr Shabz
A British-trained, DHA-licensed Consultant in Family Medicine and the founding clinician at Aafiyah Care. Dr Shabz built Aafiyah around the way medicine should be practised — long consultations, one doctor for life, and the time to actually listen.
His clinical interests span chronic disease management, preventative cardiology, men's and women's health and complex polypharmacy reviews — in clinic, at home and at the hotel. Patients describe him as unhurried, thorough and refreshingly honest.

A British-trained, DHA-licensed Consultant in Family Medicine, Dr Lorna brings the same unhurried, whole-person approach that defines care at Aafiyah. She sees patients in clinic and at home across Dubai.
Her clinical interests include women's health, paediatric and family medicine, lifestyle and preventative care, and the long-term management of chronic conditions — always with the time to listen.

Louise
Louise leads our nursing care at Aafiyah — bloods, injections, wound care, vital signs, IV therapy and the quiet clinical work that keeps everything running. British-trained and unhurried, she's often the first person you'll meet on your visit.
For many of our patients, Louise is the reason a needle feels like nothing and a follow-up feels like seeing a friend.
Saira
Saira is a British-trained Registered Nurse who supports our clinic and homecare teams across Dubai. From bloods and injections to IV therapy, wound care and vital signs, she brings calm, confidence and a careful eye to every visit.
