What's included in a full body check up in Dubai?
+
Our full body check up in Dubai includes 40+ blood markers (full blood count, liver, kidney, thyroid, lipids, glucose, HbA1c, vitamin D, B12, iron, inflammation), a urine test, blood pressure, BMI and a 30-minute GP consultation to explain every result. Prime and Elite add a 12-lead ECG and cardiovascular risk scoring (QRISK®).
How much does a health check up cost in Dubai?
+
Corporate pricing is not published because every programme is scoped differently. Pricing depends on team size, service scope and delivery format — on-site or in clinic, the markers included, and whether ongoing GP access is part of the programme. Speak to the corporate-health team for a tailored quotation.
Do I need to fast before a full body check up?
+
It depends on the tests in your package. Some blood tests require fasting and some do not, so employees receive written preparation instructions for their specific package before the screening date. Nobody should stop prescribed medicine unless a clinician has given them personal instructions to do so.
Is a Dubai health check up covered by insurance?
+
Cover for preventive screening varies between insurers and between individual policies, so we do not make coverage claims. We can issue an itemised invoice and medical report so you or your employees can check directly with the insurer.
Is this the same as the DHA medical fitness test for a visa?
+
No. The DHA medical fitness test is a basic government screening for residency visas. Our full body check up is a clinical health assessment — far more comprehensive bloodwork, doctor consultation, ECG and a real report. You'd typically do both.
How often should I have a full body check up in Dubai?
+
Once a year is the standard recommendation for adults — sooner if you're over 40, have a family history of heart disease or diabetes, or have specific symptoms. Executives on our Elite tier get quarterly reviews.
Can the check up be done at our Dubai office?
+
Yes. We run on-site corporate health days across Dubai — bloods, ECG where included and clinician consultations delivered at your workplace, with individual results going to each employee directly.
How quickly do employees get their results?
+
Turnaround depends on the tests included in your package and is confirmed in your proposal. A GP calls each employee with their results, then sends a written summary they can keep, share with their insurer or pass to a specialist.
Can Aafiyah provide a company doctor for our Dubai office?
+
Yes — on-site GP and nurse visits to companies across Business Bay, DIFC, Downtown, Media City and all business districts. Retainer arrangements are available and scoped to your team.
Is employee health screening mandatory in Dubai?
+
Pre-employment medicals are required for visa purposes and are handled through government-approved centres. Voluntary annual health screening is separate from that process and is offered by many Dubai employers as a staff benefit.
Who sees an employee's results?
+
Only the employee and the treating clinician. Individual results are never shared with HR, managers or the employer. Employers receive an anonymised, aggregated summary only, and only where group numbers are large enough that no individual can be identified.
Does Aafiyah provide occupational health certification or school health services?
+
No. We do not provide statutory occupational health certification, fitness-to-work legal certification or school health services. Our corporate work is voluntary, GP-led preventive healthcare for employees.

Programmes built around how your sector works.
Shift patterns, travel and client hours change how screening is delivered. These pages set out what a programme looks like for each sector in Dubai.
Employee confidentiality
- Individual employee health results remain confidential and are provided directly to the employee.
- Employers receive only appropriate, anonymous or appropriately aggregated workforce information.
- Personal diagnoses are not placed into a general employer report and individual medical notes are not shared with managers.
- Participation, consent and how data is used are explained to every employee before screening.
- Clinical records are kept separate from employer-facing and commercial information.
- As a DHA-licensed clinic, results are recorded in the Dubai Health Authority's NABIDH health record in line with UAE regulation.
Preparation depends on the tests included in your package. Some blood tests require fasting and some do not — employees receive written preparation instructions for their specific package before the screening date. Nobody should stop prescribed medicine unless a clinician has given them personal instructions to do so.
Turnaround depends on the tests in your package. Your confirmed timescale is set out in your proposal, and every employee is contacted by a GP once their results have been reviewed.
When not to wait for a workplace screening
Workplace screening is preventive care. It is not a substitute for urgent medical assessment. Call 998 or attend the nearest emergency department for:
- Chest pain or severe breathlessness
- Stroke symptoms (face droop, arm weakness, speech difficulty)
- Loss of consciousness or a new seizure
- Severe allergic reaction or severe bleeding
- Suicidal thoughts or immediate risk of harm
- Severe dehydration or serious heat illness
This page provides general information and is not legal advice. Employers should review current MOHRE requirements and obtain appropriate legal or regulatory advice.

What employers ask before choosing a provider
What does a corporate wellness programme in Dubai include?
+
A corporate wellness programme with Aafiyah Care Clinic combines employee health checks, GP access, on-site screening days and workplace health education, scoped to your workforce. Every element is delivered by our own British-trained, GP-led clinical team from our Business Bay clinic — not subcontracted to a dispatch app.
How do we start an employee wellbeing programme for our company?
+
Tell us your headcount, sites and what you want the programme to achieve. We propose a scope — screening content, delivery format, on-site days, GP access — and confirm what employees receive and what the employer receives. Programmes are quoted bespoke; there is no fixed package to fit into.
Do you work with SMEs as well as large employers in Dubai?
+
Yes. Workplace wellness works for a ten-person team as well as a thousand-person workforce; the difference is delivery format. Smaller teams often attend the Business Bay clinic in booked slots, while larger workforces are better served by an on-site health day at your office.
What is included in a corporate health checkup in Dubai?
+
An employee health check covers consent, a short clinical history, physical measurements such as blood pressure and BMI, the blood tests agreed for your programme, and a review of results with a doctor. Content is set with your HR contact so testing stays clinically appropriate for your workforce.
How often should staff have a company health screening?
+
Most Dubai employers run an annual employee medical check, with more frequent review for staff who have a finding that needs follow-up. Age, role and existing conditions all shift that interval, so we set the cadence with you rather than applying one rule to everyone.
Who sees the results of an employee health check?
+
The employee receives their own results and discusses them with a doctor. The employer receives only anonymised, aggregate workforce information agreed in advance. Individual clinical results are never shared with an employer without the employee's explicit consent.
