How much does a blood test cost in Dubai?+
Individual tests start from AED 100 (e.g. fasting glucose), with most common single tests in the AED 200–500 range (e.g. vitamin D AED 200, B12 AED 300, lipid profile AED 400, liver function AED 500). Comprehensive panels like our Aafiyah General Health Check are AED 2,250. Most insurance plans reimburse — we issue coded invoices.
Do I need a doctor's referral for a blood test?+
For most routine tests no — you can request directly. Some hormonal, fertility and cancer marker panels need a brief doctor review first, which we can do by video the same day.
How fast are blood test results in Dubai?+
Most standard tests (CBC, vitamin D, B12, thyroid, glucose, lipids) come back the same day or within 24 hours. Specialist hormone and allergy panels take 2–5 days.
Do I need to fast for my blood test?+
Fasting is needed for glucose, HbA1c, lipid profile and some hormones. Our nurse will confirm when booking — most other tests don't require fasting.
