Cost is the first question, and it should be. Here's exactly what medical weight loss costs at Aafiyah — what's included, what isn't, and where the money actually goes.
The three tiers, in plain English
Foundation — from AED 1,950/month. Semaglutide (Wegovy or Ozempic) prescription arranged via a DHA-licensed pharmacy, monthly GP review with dose titration, baseline + 3-monthly bloods, direct WhatsApp access.
Accelerate — from AED 2,450/month. Same wrap-around care with tirzepatide (Mounjaro) instead of semaglutide. Weight, BMI and waist-circumference tracking included.
Complete Metabolic Programme — from AED 3,200/month. Either molecule, 3-monthly bloods plus nutritional deficiency screening, monthly nutrition and lifestyle consultation, priority same-day GP access.
What the price does and doesn't include
Included: prescription, monthly GP review, dose titration, baseline bloods, 3-monthly repeat bloods, direct WhatsApp access to your named GP, pharmacy arrangement, cold-chain delivery to your address in Dubai.
Not included: your first GP consultation (charged separately, with 20% off on Foundation), medication co-payments if brand switches mid-course, and any additional imaging or specialist referral your GP recommends. There are no surprise fees — anything additional is agreed with you before it's charged.
Does insurance cover it?
UAE health insurance typically does not cover GLP-1 medication prescribed for weight management. This programme is self-pay with transparent monthly pricing. We can provide a fully itemised invoice for personal records or corporate reimbursement conversations.
What you're actually paying for
You are not paying for a pen. You are paying for a named British-trained GP to read your bloods, titrate your dose properly, catch side effects early, protect your muscle mass and give you a plan for after. That is where the value shows up over 12 months — and it is why our tiers include monthly review and 3-monthly bloods as standard, not as a paid upgrade.

Is there a cheaper option than Aafiyah?+
Yes — there are pharmacy-counter scripts in Dubai starting lower. What they don't include is a named GP reading your bloods, monthly review or dose titration. That's the part that changes the result over 12 months.
Do I sign a long-term contract?+
No. Monthly programme, cancel any time. Your GP will discuss what to expect if you stop.
Can I split payments?+
Payments are monthly. Speak to us at consultation if you need a specific arrangement.
