Why tirzepatide is different
Tirzepatide is the first dual receptor agonist licensed for weight management — it acts on both GLP-1 and GIP appetite hormones instead of just one. In the SURMOUNT-1 trial, participants on the highest dose lost an average of 20–22% of body weight at 72 weeks alongside lifestyle support.
The trade-off is a longer titration ladder (2.5 → 5 → 7.5 → 10 → 12.5 → 15 mg) and a higher side-effect ceiling in the first weeks. Neither is a problem if your GP is titrating properly and reachable when questions arise. Both are a problem if you were handed a pen and told to figure it out.

Book a free 15-minute GP call. If Mounjaro looks appropriate, we arrange baseline bloods — kidney, liver, HbA1c, lipids, B12, ferritin and thyroid — at your home or at our Business Bay clinic. Your GP reviews the results with you and only then issues the first prescription.
Medication is dispensed by a DHA-licensed UAE pharmacy partner (genuine Eli Lilly product only) and delivered cold-chain to your home, office or hotel anywhere in Dubai. Monthly reviews handle dose titration; 3-monthly bloods track kidney function, glycaemic markers and nutritional status.
Dose ladder and pricing
Starting dose is 2.5 mg weekly for 4 weeks, then a phased increase every 4 weeks as tolerance allows. Most patients settle at 5, 7.5 or 10 mg for maintenance; some progress to 12.5 or 15 mg for higher weight-loss targets.

What proper monitoring looks like on Mounjaro
A named GP who reads your bloods and knows your history — not a rotating pool. Monthly reviews to adjust dose, troubleshoot nausea or fullness and check protein intake. Repeat bloods every three months. Honest conversations about muscle mass, resistance training and what happens if you stop.
If your current provider hasn't checked your bloods in 90 days and hasn't asked about your protein intake, you are being sold a prescription, not given treatment. The difference shows up in the long run — in muscle mass, energy and durability of the result.

Yes. Mounjaro (tirzepatide) is registered in the UAE and prescribed by DHA-licensed doctors. It is prescription-only — importing it personally or buying it without a valid prescription is not permitted.

Is Mounjaro better than Wegovy?+
On average, tirzepatide produces greater weight loss in trials than semaglutide (roughly 20–22% vs 15–17%). Whether it is right for you depends on tolerance, response, medical history and budget — which is what the free GP call is for.
How quickly will I lose weight on Mounjaro?+
Most patients notice reduced appetite in the first 1–2 weeks. Visible weight loss usually begins around week 4 as the dose titrates upward, with peak loss reached between months 6 and 12.
What are the common side effects?+
Nausea, fullness, mild GI upset and occasional constipation are common in the first weeks and usually settle as your body adapts. Your named GP is reachable via WhatsApp throughout — dose is adjusted rather than pushed through discomfort.
What happens if I stop Mounjaro?+
