How old is your body, really?
Your passport says one number. Your body might be telling a different story. Our GP-led biological age assessment in Dubai uses a comprehensive blood panel together with clinical body measurements — weight, waist size, blood pressure, resting heart rate — to show you, honestly, whether your body is ageing faster, slower or in line with your chronological age.
At Aafiyah Care Clinic in Business Bay we offer a GP-led biological age assessment using validated blood biomarkers (glucose, insulin, HbA1c, ApoB, hs-CRP, thyroid, hormones, key vitamins) combined with clinical measurements such as waist circumference, body composition, blood pressure and resting heart rate. The result is a clear, honest picture of how your body is ageing — and a practical plan to improve it. We deliberately do not sell epigenetic 'age clocks'; we focus on data that is reliable and actionable.
What we mean by biological age
Two people who are both 45 can have very different bodies. One has tight waist measurements, healthy blood pressure, low inflammation and normal insulin. The other has central fat, raised ApoB, high resting heart rate and creeping HbA1c. They look the same on paper. They are not the same age, biologically.
We use your blood results and your clinical measurements together — not a single gimmick number — to show you where your body sits relative to what is expected for your age and sex. That is information you can act on, and we can measure again in 3–6 months to prove the plan is working.
A note on honesty: we do not offer epigenetic or DNA methylation 'age clocks'. The technology is interesting but still maturing, and the interventions that actually move biological age are the same ones we identify from a properly interpreted blood panel and a careful clinical exam.
How the assessment works
Initial GP consultation
A 30–45 minute consultation with your GP to review your medical history, current symptoms, lifestyle, family history and goals. We agree which biomarkers and measurements are most relevant for you.
Blood test & body measurements
We take a blood sample at our Business Bay clinic (or at home) and record clinical measurements including weight, waist circumference, body composition, blood pressure and resting heart rate. No specialist equipment is sent away — everything is done through standard, validated pathology.
Clinical review
Your GP reviews your results against age and sex-matched reference ranges and well-established cardiovascular, metabolic and inflammatory risk markers to build a clear picture of how your body is ageing compared with your chronological age.
Results consultation & plan
You receive a written report explaining what each marker means, where you sit versus expected ranges for your age, and a personalised plan covering nutrition, training, sleep, supplementation and any follow-on clinical actions.

Biological age assessment — common questions
What do you actually mean by 'biological age'?+
We use the term in a careful, clinical sense. We are not selling a single magic number from a lab. We combine your blood biomarkers with body measurements such as weight, waist size, blood pressure and resting heart rate, and compare them against what is expected for someone of your age and sex. That gives a clear, honest picture of whether your body is tracking ahead, on, or behind your chronological age.
Is this an epigenetic or DNA methylation test?+
No. We deliberately do not offer epigenetic methylation 'clocks'. The science is interesting but still evolving, the tests are expensive, and the interventions that move the needle are the same ones we already recommend from standard bloods and measurements. We focus on data that is validated, actionable and repeatable.
What is included?+
A GP consultation, a comprehensive blood panel (metabolic, lipid, inflammatory, thyroid, hormonal where relevant, key vitamins and minerals), a full set of clinical body measurements, a written report and a results consultation with your GP to build your plan.
How long does it take?+
The appointment itself is around 30–45 minutes. Blood results are typically returned within 3–5 working days, after which we book your results consultation with your GP.
Can I actually change the result?+
Yes. The markers we measure — visceral fat, insulin sensitivity, ApoB, blood pressure, inflammation, hormonal balance — all respond to changes in nutrition, training, sleep, alcohol and, where appropriate, medical treatment. We repeat the assessment after 3–6 months so you can see the difference, not guess at it.
Is this available in Dubai?+
Yes. Aafiyah Care Clinic is a DHA-licensed clinic in Business Bay and the assessment is led by our British-trained GPs. You can book online or by calling the clinic.
