How family membership is structured
Platinum is an individual membership, so every family member holds their own. That keeps each person's medical record confidential and properly owned, which matters as children get older.
What is shared is the clinician. The same named GP can look after adults and children in the household, so household patterns — infections passing round, shared risk factors, caring responsibilities — are visible to one doctor.
A family rate applies to larger households. Because that rate is being standardised across membership tiers, the team confirms it in writing before you apply rather than us publishing a number that may change.
Children and older parents
Arrangements for under-18s are agreed case by case, including which clinician sees them and at what rate. Ask before you apply so it is confirmed in writing.
For older parents, the value is usually medication review and monitoring: the same doctor checking whether long-standing prescriptions are still right, and arranging the blood tests those medicines require.
One visit, several people
Where it is practical, a home visit can cover several members of the household in one appointment block, which is often the difference between a review happening and being postponed.
Home visits are included within the covered Dubai service area and booked in advance with the care team.
