One doctor. Your whole family. At home.
A British-trained GP who knows the newborn, the teenager, the dad's blood pressure and the grandmother's medication list — and visits all of them at the same address.

The continuity dividend
Cochrane and BMJ reviews are blunt: patients with one regular doctor have lower mortality, fewer hospitalisations, fewer unnecessary tests, and better blood-pressure and diabetes control. Dubai's clinic system rotates you through a different GP every visit — we don't. You get one mobile number and one human, year after year.
Eligibility
- · Adults, children (from newborn) and elderly in Dubai
- · Residents, tourists, insured or self-pay
- · Non-life-threatening primary-care concerns
- · Valid Emirates ID or passport at the visit (DHA requirement)
- · Parent / legal guardian present for under-18s
Not for: cardiac arrest, stroke, severe trauma, major bleeding, suicidal crisis — call 998 first; we can follow up afterwards.
Appointment steps
- 1. Request — WhatsApp or call. A clinical coordinator triages within minutes.
- 2. Match — We assign a named British-trained GP, share their bio, and confirm an ETA (typically 60–90 minutes).
- 3. Pre-visit review — Your doctor reads your record / NABIDH history before arrival.
- 4. Home visit — 20–40 minute consultation, examination, bloods if needed, prescription on-site.
- 5. Follow-up — Written report, results call, and ongoing access to the same GP — no re-explaining at the next visit.
Doctor at home — common questions
Can I have one doctor look after my whole family at home?+
Yes — that is the core of how we work. A single named GP is assigned to your household and sees every member: babies, school-age kids, working adults, grandparents. They learn your family history, allergies and quirks, and you stop re-explaining them at every visit.
What can a home doctor handle vs what needs hospital?+
Roughly 85% of primary-care problems are managed entirely at home: infections, asthma, hypertension, diabetes reviews, anxiety, sleep, hormones, chronic pain, preventive screening, vaccinations, sick notes. Hospital is reserved for surgery, advanced imaging beyond ultrasound, oncology, and acute trauma.
Do you do vaccinations at home for babies and children?+
Yes. We carry the full DHA/MOH-approved childhood schedule — 6-in-1, MMR, varicella, hepatitis A/B, pneumococcal, meningococcal, flu, HPV — cold-chain transported. Adults: flu, COVID, shingles, Tdap, hep B, travel vaccines (typhoid, rabies, Japanese encephalitis, meningitis ACWY for Hajj/Umrah). Yellow fever is not offered — it is restricted to DHA-authorised yellow fever centres.
Can you manage diabetes, blood pressure or thyroid from home?+
Yes — and arguably better than a 7-minute clinic slot. A home doctor reviews medication, takes home BP and glucose readings seriously, draws repeat bloods at your kitchen table, adjusts doses, and writes a clear plan you can stick to. We follow NICE and ADA guidelines, not whatever pad the rep left.
Do you support elderly relatives at home, including end-of-life care?+
Yes. We provide ongoing geriatric care including medication reviews, falls assessment, dementia support, catheter changes, wound care, and palliative care alongside the family. Where appropriate we coordinate with hospice services and provide the doctor presence families need in the final weeks.
Is one doctor at home really safer than a different one each time?+
Significantly. Continuity of care is one of the most evidence-based interventions in general practice — it lowers hospital admissions, improves medication adherence, and catches problems earlier. You get one mobile number, one record, one human who knows you.
How does payment work and is it insurance-claimable?+
AED 500 daytime, AED 900 overnight, per visit. We don't charge for the time spent reviewing your record beforehand or writing your report after. Itemised invoice in English with diagnostic codes — most international insurance plans (Bupa, Cigna, Allianz, AXA, Daman International) reimburse on submission.
Can you take blood and run tests at home so we never need a lab?+
Yes. A phlebotomy-trained nurse comes alongside the doctor for fasting bloods, hormone profiles, vitamin levels, cardiac markers, tumour markers, allergy panels and food intolerance. Routine results within hours, specialist within 24–72h, all reviewed and explained on a follow-up call.
Who is eligible for a doctor-at-home visit?+
Anyone in Dubai with a non-life-threatening issue — adults, children from newborn, elderly, residents, tourists, insured or self-pay. We do not attend cardiac arrest, stroke, severe trauma, active suicidal crisis or major bleeding — call 998 first and we can join afterwards for follow-up. A valid Emirates ID or passport is required at the visit (DHA documentation requirement).
Which doctors visit, and what are their qualifications?+
Every home visit is delivered by a DHA-licensed Family Medicine physician — most are British-trained (MRCGP / GMC-registered) with 10+ years' experience. No junior trainees, no agency locums. Each clinician carries professional indemnity and is governed by DHA's clinical-standards framework.
What standards and supervision do you work to?+
We follow NICE, RCGP and DHA clinical guidelines, with peer review of every complex case. Prescribing is audited against UAE MOHAP formularies; controlled drugs require in-person assessment and DHA e-prescription. All consultations are documented in an encrypted EMR and uploaded to NABIDH (DHA's health information exchange) — meaning your treating clinicians across Dubai can see continuity of care.
How is patient safety handled on a home visit?+
Doctors carry a sealed emergency kit (adrenaline, defibrillator-AED on request, oxygen, IV access, nebuliser, basic suturing). If you deteriorate, we stabilise and arrange ambulance escort to a hospital of your choice. Cold-chain vaccines travel in validated coolers with temperature logs.
