How often should I have a preventive check-up in Dubai?+
Once a year from age 35 for most adults; every two years from age 25 if you have no risk factors. Patients on therapy (statins, blood pressure medication, HRT, TRT, GLP-1 weight management) are reviewed every six months.
Can the preventive check-up be done at home?+
Yes. A DHA-licensed nurse draws your bloods at home anywhere in Dubai. Your GP consultation can be in clinic in Business Bay, at your home, or by video — whichever suits you.
What's the difference between preventive medicine and a one-off health check?+
A one-off check tells you where you are. Preventive medicine tells you where you're going — by tracking the same markers year on year with the same GP. The evidence in longevity medicine is overwhelming that continuity beats intensity.
Is preventive medicine covered by Dubai insurance?+
Some Dubai policies cover annual health checks; many do not. We provide itemised invoices for reimbursement. Many patients self-pay for the simplicity and speed of direct booking.
