FAQs
What's the difference between a home doctor and a home nurse in Dubai?+
A home doctor diagnoses illness, prescribes medication and writes sick leave certificates. A home nurse delivers care that has already been prescribed — IV drips, injections, wound care, post-op recovery and elderly nursing. Many cases need both: the doctor sees you first, then a nurse provides ongoing treatment.
Which is cheaper — home doctor or home nurse in Dubai?+
Home nurse visits in Dubai typically start around AED 250–400 per visit, while a home doctor visit starts from AED 750. Nurses are cheaper per visit because they don't diagnose or prescribe — they deliver a treatment plan a doctor has already set up.
Do I need to see a doctor before booking a home nurse?+
Almost always yes. Nurses follow a doctor's prescription or care plan — IV fluids, antibiotics, post-op wound care, injections. If you don't yet have one, our doctor can assess you (in person or by video) and write the plan the same day, then a nurse takes over.
Can a home nurse give me an IV drip in Dubai?+
Yes — once a doctor has prescribed it. Our DHA-licensed nurses deliver IV hydration, vitamin and wellness drips, antibiotics and rehydration at home.
Who do I book for elderly care at home?+
Long-term elderly care is usually nurse-led (medication, mobility, hygiene, wound care) with a named doctor reviewing every 2–4 weeks. See our home care packages.
Who do I book for post-surgery recovery?+
A nurse handles daily wound dressings, drains, injections and observations. A doctor reviews progress and adjusts the plan as needed.
