Provided by: Caregivers and Registered Nurses, with GP review from Aafiyah Care Clinic
Doctor involvement: A GP reviews the care plan when clinical needs change, and can visit when needed.
How is this different from hiring a helper?
A helper works alone. Aafiyah caregivers work to a written plan, are supervised by a Registered Nurse and can escalate concerns to a GP the same day. Nursing tasks are done by nurses, not left to the caregiver.
Which signs tell a family it is time to arrange care?
Missed meals or medicines, weight loss, a recent fall, difficulty washing, confusion that is new or getting worse, or a carer in the family who is exhausted. An assessment helps you decide calmly.
How does the family stay informed?
With consent, one family contact receives updates after nurse visits and a written summary at each plan review, including from overseas.
Questions families ask
Can we choose the hours?+
Yes. Care can be a few hours a day, 8 or 12-hour shifts, overnight, or ongoing arrangements, subject to assessment and staffing.
Will it be the same caregiver each time?+
We aim for a small, consistent team so your parent sees familiar faces, with cover for leave and sickness.
Can I claim this on insurance?+
We are not an insurance-billing clinic. You pay directly and we issue a fully coded invoice that many international and premium UAE plans reimburse.

"Post-ACL physiotherapy at home in Dubai Marina. The GP-prescribed rehab plan was miles ahead of what I got in clinic — same physio each visit, real progress reviews, back to squash in 14 weeks."
"My mother's post-hip-replacement physio in Jumeirah. Their British GP wrote the whole rehab plan around her surgeon's notes and the physiotherapist followed it to the letter. She's walking unaided already."
