Shifts or live-in: what is the difference?
With shifts, a fresh carer or nurse takes over every 8 or 12 hours. With live-in care, one caregiver lives in the home with agreed rest periods. Shifts suit people who need active help through the night; live-in suits those who mostly sleep.
How is a 24-hour team kept safe?
Every shift follows the same written plan, records observations and hands over in writing. The supervising nurse audits notes and visits regularly.
Questions families ask
Can 24-hour care start quickly?+
We arrange it as soon as an assessment and safe staffing are in place. Tell us the date you need cover from, especially for hospital discharge.
Does the live-in carer need a room?+
Yes. A private space to rest is needed for safe live-in care.
Can I claim this on insurance?+
We are not an insurance-billing clinic. You pay directly and we issue a fully coded invoice that many international and premium UAE plans reimburse.
