Running a screening day without disrupting the working day
An on-site screening day runs in short, pre-booked slots through a single private room, scheduled in waves around meetings, handovers and breaks. Most employees are away from their desk for a short appointment only, and the operational day continues around the session.
Key facts
- Clinic
- Aafiyah Care Clinic, Unit G09, Churchill Executive Towers, Business Bay, Dubai.
- Clinical model
- British-led, GP-led primary care. One licensed clinic; on-site corporate care is delivered by that team travelling to your workplace.
- Coverage
- On-site corporate health services across Dubai business districts.
- Confidentiality
- Individual results go to the employee. Employers receive only anonymised, aggregate information agreed in advance.
- Pricing
- Corporate programmes are scoped per organisation and quoted in a proposal. No prices are published.
- Not offered
- No school health services and no formal occupational-health certification or fitness-to-work certification.
What the room needs
One lockable, private room with a table, chairs and a wash basin nearby is enough for most sessions. Where blood draws are included, we need space for the employee to sit comfortably and for clinical waste to be handled properly.
A second space outside the room helps, so nobody queues within earshot of a consultation.
How slots are scheduled
Slots are pre-booked rather than drop-in wherever possible, because a booked list prevents crowding and keeps each appointment private. Waves are grouped around handovers, prayer times, shift changes and known meeting blocks.
Departments are usually staggered so no single team is away from its desk at once.
Who to brief beforehand
HR or the office manager owns the schedule, and line managers need to know their team's window in advance. Employees should be told what the appointment involves, whether fasting is needed, and that attendance is voluntary.
A short note explaining what the employer will and will not see raises attendance more than any other single step.
Anyone who misses the day
People on leave, on client sites or travelling are offered a clinic appointment in Business Bay afterwards, so a diary clash does not exclude them from the programme.
Individual clinical information stays with the employee. Employers receive only anonymised, aggregate reporting agreed before the programme begins, and only where group numbers are large enough that nobody can be identified from it.

What does an office need to host a screening day?
One lockable private room with a table, chairs and a basin nearby covers most sessions, plus a separate waiting space so nobody queues within earshot. Where blood draws are included, space is needed for the employee to sit and for clinical waste handling.
Aafiyah's team brings the equipment and consumables required for the agreed programme.
How can an employer improve screening-day attendance?
Pre-book slots rather than running drop-in, stagger departments, and tell employees in advance what the appointment involves, whether fasting is needed, and that attendance is voluntary. Explaining what the employer will and will not see raises attendance more than anything else.
Line managers need their team's window ahead of the date so nobody is scheduled into a client meeting.

What employers ask before choosing a provider
Can you run an on-site health screening day at our Dubai office?
+
Yes. Our clinical team travels from the Business Bay clinic to your workplace to run health checks, blood draws and vaccination sessions on site. You provide a private room; employees attend in short booked slots so the working day continues around the session.
What do we need to provide for a workplace health day?
+
A private, lockable room with a table, chairs and hand-washing access, plus a booking schedule so employees arrive in slots. We bring clinicians, consumables and equipment. For blood draws we also need a clean surface and safe sharps disposal space, which our team sets up and removes.
How many employees can you screen in one on-site day?
+
Throughput depends on the content of the check and how many clinicians attend. A basic screening slot runs shorter than a full check with phlebotomy and a doctor review, so we size the team to your headcount and agree the day's schedule before it is confirmed.
Can you run a corporate flu vaccination programme at our office?
+
Yes. Our team delivers workplace flu vaccination sessions on site in Dubai, with consent, screening questions, administration and post-vaccination observation handled by our clinicians. Employees who miss the session can attend the Business Bay clinic instead.
When should employers schedule workplace flu jabs in Dubai?
+
Most Dubai employers run their office vaccination day in autumn, ahead of the main respiratory season, so protection is in place before case numbers rise. Booking early matters because vaccine supply and clinical capacity both tighten once the season starts.
What preventive health services can employers offer staff?
+
Beyond vaccination, employers commonly offer early-detection screening, cardiometabolic and vitamin panels, lifestyle and weight support, and GP access so findings actually get followed up. The value is in the follow-up pathway, not the test list alone.
