On-site or in-clinic screening: which suits your team?

On-site screening suits teams sitting together in one Dubai office, because attendance is highest when nobody has to travel. Clinic appointments suit small, senior, dispersed or frequently travelling teams. Most organisations do best with a hybrid: an on-site window plus clinic slots afterwards.

When on-site works best

On-site delivery works when most of the workforce is in one building on the same days. A private room is set aside, employees attend in short slots, and the working day carries on around the session.

Attendance is the deciding factor: a programme nobody attends produces no clinical benefit, however comprehensive it looks on paper.

When clinic appointments work better

Clinic appointments suit senior staff who want privacy, employees who prefer to be seen away from colleagues, and teams spread across several buildings or working from home.

They also suit assessments that need equipment or a longer consultation than a visiting session can offer.

Shift workers and travelling staff

Shift teams are usually screened in waves timed around handovers, so cover holds and night staff are seen at the end of a shift rather than on a rest day.

Consultants and sales teams who travel are better served by a window of several weeks than a fixed date, with a clinic appointment kept open for anyone away.

What stays the same either way

The clinical content, consent process and reporting are identical in both formats. Only the location and scheduling change.

Individual clinical information stays with the employee. Employers receive only anonymised, aggregate reporting agreed before the programme begins, and only where group numbers are large enough that nobody can be identified from it.

Questions employers ask

Should employee screening happen on site or in a clinic?

On site suits teams sitting together in one Dubai office, because attendance is highest when nobody travels. Clinic appointments suit small, senior, dispersed or travelling teams. Most organisations use both: an on-site window, then clinic slots for anyone missed.

Clinical content, consent and reporting are identical in either format. Only location and scheduling change.

How are shift workers screened without losing cover?

Shift teams are screened in waves timed around handovers and scheduled breaks, agreed with whoever owns the rota, so cover holds throughout. Night staff are offered slots at the end of a shift rather than being asked to return on a rest day.

Anyone still missed is offered a clinic appointment in Business Bay afterwards.

What employers ask before choosing a provider

Can you run an on-site health screening day at our Dubai office?

+

Yes. Our clinical team travels from the Business Bay clinic to your workplace to run health checks, blood draws and vaccination sessions on site. You provide a private room; employees attend in short booked slots so the working day continues around the session.

What do we need to provide for a workplace health day?

+

A private, lockable room with a table, chairs and hand-washing access, plus a booking schedule so employees arrive in slots. We bring clinicians, consumables and equipment. For blood draws we also need a clean surface and safe sharps disposal space, which our team sets up and removes.

How many employees can you screen in one on-site day?

+

Throughput depends on the content of the check and how many clinicians attend. A basic screening slot runs shorter than a full check with phlebotomy and a doctor review, so we size the team to your headcount and agree the day's schedule before it is confirmed.

Can you run a corporate flu vaccination programme at our office?

+

Yes. Our team delivers workplace flu vaccination sessions on site in Dubai, with consent, screening questions, administration and post-vaccination observation handled by our clinicians. Employees who miss the session can attend the Business Bay clinic instead.

When should employers schedule workplace flu jabs in Dubai?

+

Most Dubai employers run their office vaccination day in autumn, ahead of the main respiratory season, so protection is in place before case numbers rise. Booking early matters because vaccine supply and clinical capacity both tighten once the season starts.

What preventive health services can employers offer staff?

+

Beyond vaccination, employers commonly offer early-detection screening, cardiometabolic and vitamin panels, lifestyle and weight support, and GP access so findings actually get followed up. The value is in the follow-up pathway, not the test list alone.
