A pediatrician who comes to their bedroom.
No clinic queue. No cold couch. No white coat. The doctor sees your child where they are happiest — and where the examination is honest.
What home visits handle better than clinics
Newborn 6-week checks
Weight, jaundice, reflexes, hips and hearing — without the post-natal nightmare of getting out the house.
Sleep & feeding
Almost impossible in a clinic. At home we see the bedroom, the cot, the bottle, the schedule. Diagnosis becomes obvious.
Vaccinations for nervous kids
Done while they watch their iPad on the sofa. Most don't notice the needle.
Sick visits with fever or rash
Don't drag them across town to a waiting room of infections. We come.
Asthma reviews
We see the carpets, the cat, the cleaning sprays — the actual triggers.
Behaviour & sleep regression
Real assessment needs context, not a 10-minute appointment slot.
Our pediatric house rules
- No white coat. No stethoscope draped around the neck.
- Five minutes of toys before any examination. Always.
- Child stays in the parent's lap, never on a couch.
- We never physically restrain a child. If they refuse, we come back.
- Parents stay in the room for every consult, every age, every procedure.
- If the child is sleeping, we wait. The illness can usually wait 15 minutes.
Home visit pediatrician — FAQs
Why book a pediatrician home visit instead of a clinic?+
Children examine far better in their own home. They are not surrounded by other sick children, they are not stripped onto a cold examination couch, and the doctor sees how the child plays, breathes and reacts in their actual environment. Sleep and feeding problems in particular are nearly impossible to assess in a 10-minute clinic slot.
What ages do you visit at home?+
From day 1 of life through to 18. Newborn 6-week checks, growth and weaning, vaccinations, school-entry medicals, paediatric asthma, eczema, allergies, behaviour, sleep, adolescent confidential consults — all at home.
Do you do home vaccinations and are they DHA-approved?+
Yes — full DHA/MOH schedule, cold-chain transported, given in your child's own bedroom or sofa, where they're calmest. 6-in-1, MMR, varicella, hepatitis A/B, pneumococcal, meningococcal, rotavirus, flu, HPV. Travel vaccines (yellow fever, typhoid, hep A, rabies) also done at home.
My child is terrified of doctors. How do you handle that?+
We come in casual clothes, no white coat, no stethoscope hung around the neck. We let the child show us their toys for the first 5 minutes. We examine in the parent's lap, never on a couch. Vaccinations are timed for when they're distracted — most don't even cry. We are explicit: we do not restrain children.
Can the home visit pediatrician prescribe and follow up?+
Yes. Full DHA prescribing rights for paediatric antibiotics, salbutamol, inhalers, eczema steroids, antihistamines, oral rehydration. Pharmacy delivery to your door inside 1–2 hours. Direct WhatsApp follow-up to the same doctor for 7 days after every visit.
Can we have one regular paediatrician for our family?+
Yes — and it is what we recommend. A named paediatric GP is assigned to your child(ren) and stays with them through development. They learn the growth charts, the allergies, the personalities. You stop re-explaining the asthma history every visit.
Do you do home visits for newborn checks and breastfeeding support?+
Yes. We do post-discharge newborn checks (latch, jaundice, weight, reflexes, hips, hearing follow-up), and we work alongside lactation consultants for breastfeeding support. Mothers also stay clothed in their own bed — far less exhausting than dragging a 5-day-old to a clinic.
What does a home paediatrician visit cost?+
AED 500 daytime, AED 900 overnight. Vaccinations from AED 250 per vaccine on top. Insurance-coded invoice in English issued same day — most international child health insurance plans (Bupa, Cigna, Allianz, Daman International) reimburse on submission.
