How the appointment runs

Booking confirmed by message. Phlebotomist arrives within a 30-minute window, brings sterile vacutainers, calibrated tourniquet and a chilled transport box. Draw takes 5–10 minutes. Samples go to a DHA-accredited reference lab within 2 hours. Most results back in 24 hours; some hormones and antibodies take 48–72 hours.

Result review — the bit that matters

A GP calls or video-consults you to walk through every flagged marker, what's clinically significant vs lab-noise, and the next step. You receive a written summary, a copy of the lab report and, if needed, a prescription or referral. This is included in the price — never an upsell.

How home phlebotomy works on the Palm

Children, fasting and other practicalities

Children can have bloods drawn at home — often easier than at a clinic because the environment is familiar. Our paediatric phlebotomists are trained to minimise distress and use techniques (numbing cream, distraction, butterfly needles) that make the experience as tolerable as possible. For fasted tests, early morning slots work best so the fast is mostly overnight sleep.
