More than 3 in 12 months warrants a proper work-up: post-void imaging, prophylaxis discussion, post-menopausal vaginal oestrogen review, behavioural review.
Can this be a home visit?
Yes, entirely. Our GP arrives with urine dip and can send the culture from your address.
Do I need to see a urologist?
Not for most simple UTIs. We refer for recurrent, complex, or male UTIs.
Will the culture change my treatment?
It confirms the organism and sensitivities — sometimes antibiotics need to be changed after 48 hours. We call you if so.
