Not always. Rotterdam needs 2 of 3 criteria — cycle disturbance, hyperandrogenism (clinical or biochemical) or polycystic ovaries on ultrasound. Bloods and history can be enough.
Will you check my insulin?
Yes — HbA1c and, where indicated, fasting insulin. Insulin resistance drives many PCOS features and is a modifiable target.
Can PCOS be treated?
Managed, not cured. Weight, sleep and strength training are foundational; metformin, inositols, combined pill and — where relevant — GLP-1 medications all have a role. Your plan depends on your goals (cycle, fertility, symptoms).

Most women with PCOS conceive with the right support. Ovulation induction is a well-established path when needed. We refer to a trusted Dubai fertility unit when appropriate.
