How much does an online doctor consultation cost in Dubai?+

Video consultations with Aafiyah Care start from AED 400 for 20 minutes, or AED 600 for an extended 40-minute consultation. Insurance-coded invoices provided for reimbursement.

Can a doctor prescribe medication over video in Dubai?+

Yes. Our DHA-licensed doctors can issue digital prescriptions during a video consultation, including most routine medications. Controlled medication requires an in-person review per UAE regulations.

Is telemedicine covered by insurance in Dubai?+

Most international insurers (Cigna, Allianz, AXA, Bupa Global) and many UAE plans now cover telehealth. We issue a coded invoice you can submit for reimbursement.

Can I get a sick leave certificate over a video call?+

Yes — DHA-recognised sick leave certificates are issued where clinically appropriate after a video consultation, emailed to you the same day.

When should I book telemedicine vs an in-person visit?+

Telemedicine is ideal for prescription refills, mild infections, mental health, follow-ups, lifestyle and chronic disease reviews. In-person is needed for physical examinations, controlled medications or anything urgent.

How fast can I get a video consultation?+

Most patients are seen within 1 hour of booking, 7 days a week, evenings included. Book online or WhatsApp us for the next slot.

Can I use telemedicine if I'm visiting Dubai as a tourist?+

Yes — tourists, hotel guests and short-term visitors can book a video consultation. Travel insurance often reimburses this.
