Chronic Disease Monitoring at Home in Dubai

Diabetes, hypertension, heart and respiratory monitoring at home — nurse visits, home bloods and the same GP reading every result.

By Aafiyah Care Clinical Team · Medically reviewed by Dr. Shahbaz Afzal, GMC-registered, British-trained GP · DHA-licensed · Published 11 August 2026 · Updated 11 August 2026

Long-term conditions are managed by trends, not single visits. Aafiyah is doctor-led home care from one named, DHA-licensed clinic, so each reading joins the last in one record — unlike app-dispatched visits, where every result lands with a clinician who has never seen your history.

What this service involves

Scheduled clinical observations

Blood pressure, pulse, oxygen saturation, weight and blood glucose recorded at consistent times, trended so a drift is visible before it becomes a crisis.

Home blood tests

HbA1c, lipid profile, kidney and liver function, thyroid, INR and full blood count taken at home and processed by accredited Dubai labs, with your GP interpreting and calling you.

ECG and cardiac checks at home

Resting ECG where indicated for palpitations, rhythm follow-up or medication monitoring, reviewed by the GP the same day.

Medication titration support

The nurse reports readings straight to the GP, who adjusts antihypertensives, insulin or other doses — so treatment changes happen in days, not at the next quarterly appointment.

Inhaler, injection and self-care technique

Inhaler and spacer technique, glucometer accuracy, insulin technique, foot checks in diabetes, and practical lifestyle coaching that fits the household.

Who it's for

  • Type 1 or type 2 diabetes needing regular HbA1c and foot checks
  • Hypertension or heart failure being titrated onto new medication
  • COPD, asthma or post-COVID respiratory follow-up
  • Anyone whose schedule or mobility makes routine clinic follow-up unrealistic

When to book a doctor instead

Ask for a doctor home visit for chest pain, new breathlessness, blood glucose you cannot control, blood pressure above 180/110, or new swelling and weight gain. Call 998 for chest pain, one-sided weakness or severe breathlessness.

Doctor home visits in Dubai

Not sure whether chronic disease home monitoring should sit with a nurse agency, an on-demand app or a doctor-led clinic? Compare the four ways a doctor home visit is delivered in Dubai — who attends, who owns the clinical plan and what happens to your records afterwards.

Response time & coverage

Monitoring visits are booked as a recurring schedule that suits you. If a reading is abnormal we escalate to the GP the same day, with an urgent home visit reaching most Dubai addresses within 60–90 minutes.

Dispatched from Aafiyah Care Clinic, Unit G09, Churchill Executive Towers, Business Bay, Dubai — covering Business Bay, Downtown, DIFC, Dubai Marina, JBR, Palm Jumeirah, Jumeirah, Dubai Hills, JVC, Al Barsha and the wider Dubai area.

Pricing

From AED 350 per visit

Frequently asked questions

Who reads my results?

A named GP at our Business Bay clinic — the same doctor each time — who calls you to explain what changed and what to do about it, rather than sending a PDF.

How often should monitoring visits happen?

It depends on the condition and how stable it is: weekly while a medication is being titrated, monthly or quarterly once things settle. We agree the interval with you and review it.

Can you take bloods at home?

Yes. HbA1c, lipids, kidney and liver function, thyroid, INR and more are drawn at home and processed by accredited Dubai labs, usually with results within 24 hours.

Can you do an ECG at home?

Yes, a resting ECG where clinically indicated. The trace is reviewed by the GP the same day and referred to cardiology if anything needs specialist attention.

Will you coordinate with my specialist?

Yes. We share results and the monitoring record with your endocrinologist, cardiologist or respiratory physician so nobody is working from stale numbers.

Is this covered by insurance?

Most international and premium plans reimburse medically indicated monitoring. Insurance reimbursement support available — we issue a fully coded invoice and supporting documentation for your claim.
