Booking & appointments
Can I book a doctor appointment online in Dubai?+
Yes — book online in under a minute via our booking page, or message us on WhatsApp for the next available slot. Same-day clinic and home visits available 7 days a week.
Do I need to create an account to book?+
No. You can book as a guest with just your name, phone and a brief description of what you need. We'll send confirmation by WhatsApp and email.
Can I book for someone else (parent, spouse, child)?+
Yes — just provide the patient's name, location and contact. Common for elderly parents, children, or hotel guests.
How soon can I get a same-day appointment?+
Most patients are seen within 60–90 minutes for home visits and within 2 hours for clinic visits. Telemedicine is usually within the hour.
Do you offer weekend, Friday and evening appointments?+
Yes — we operate 7 days a week including Fridays and public holidays. Homecare is on call 24/7 for urgent needs.
How do I cancel or reschedule a booking?+
Message us on WhatsApp or call any time. There's no cancellation fee for changes made more than 2 hours before the appointment.
Will I get a reminder before my appointment?+
Yes — automatic confirmation and reminder messages by WhatsApp and email.
Costs & insurance
How much does a doctor home visit cost in Dubai?+
GP home visits start from AED 750. Extended consultations and after-hours visits are quoted separately. We provide insurance-coded invoices for reimbursement.
How much is an online doctor consultation in Dubai?+
Video consultations start from AED 400 for 20 minutes, AED 600 for an extended 40-minute appointment.
How much do blood tests cost?+
Individual tests start from AED 80 (e.g. Vitamin D, B12). The 40+ marker Aafiyah Signature Profile is AED 1,200 and includes a follow-up consultation. Home collection is AED 200 extra.
Is a doctor home visit covered by insurance?+
Most international and premium UAE plans (Daman, ADNIC, Cigna, Allianz, AXA, Bupa Global) reimburse home visits when medically indicated. We provide a coded invoice you can submit for reimbursement.
Do you take direct billing for insurance?+
We're working on direct billing with major insurers — currently we operate on a reimbursement basis. You pay at the visit, we provide a fully coded invoice you can claim back. Most patients are reimbursed in 5–10 working days.
What if my insurance is rejected?+
We don't charge extra if your insurer rejects a claim — you've already paid at the visit. If you'd like advice on resubmitting or appealing, our team can help.
Home visits & home care
Which areas of Dubai do you cover?+
All of Dubai — Business Bay, Downtown, Marina, JBR, Palm Jumeirah, Jumeirah, Emirates Hills, Arabian Ranches, Dubai Hills, JVC, DIFC, Mirdif and more. Villa, apartment, hotel or office.
Can a doctor visit my hotel in Dubai?+
Yes — hotel doctor visits are one of our most-requested services. British-trained GPs to your suite across all major Dubai hotels.
Do you offer 24-hour doctor home visits?+
Our homecare team is on call 24/7 for urgent needs. Standard same-day visits run 8am–11pm; overnight calls are accepted via WhatsApp and phone.
Can the doctor prescribe medication at home?+
Yes — DHA-licensed doctors can write prescriptions during a home visit, including controlled medications where clinically appropriate.
What's the difference between a home doctor and home nurse?+
A home doctor diagnoses, prescribes and creates a treatment plan. A home nurse delivers ongoing care — injections, wound dressing, IV setup, vitals — under doctor supervision.
Can I get IV therapy at home?+
Yes — medically supervised IV drips (hydration, recovery, vitamin) delivered at home by a DHA-licensed nurse, doctor-prescribed.
Blood tests & screening
Can I get a blood test at home in Dubai?+
Yes — a DHA-licensed nurse comes to your home to draw blood, with results sent within 24–48 hours and reviewed by a doctor.
Do I need to fast for blood tests?+
It depends on the test. Lipid panel, glucose and HbA1c need 8–12 hours of fasting. Most others do not. We'll confirm when you book.
How quickly do I get blood test results?+
Same-day or next-day for most common tests. Specialised panels (hormones, tumour markers) take 3–5 days. Results are doctor-reviewed and explained in plain English.
What's included in the Aafiyah Signature Profile?+
40+ markers across blood count, kidneys, liver, thyroid, lipids, diabetes, vitamins, hormones and inflammation — plus a follow-up consultation to explain results.
Telemedicine & video consults
Can a doctor prescribe over video in Dubai?+
Yes — DHA-licensed doctors can issue digital prescriptions for most routine medications via video. Controlled medication requires an in-person review per UAE regulations.
Can I get a sick leave certificate over video?+
Yes — DHA-recognised sick notes are issued where clinically appropriate after a video consultation, emailed to you the same day.
When should I book telemedicine vs in-person?+
Telemedicine is ideal for prescription refills, mild infections, mental health and follow-ups. In-person is needed for physical examination, controlled medication or anything urgent.
