Doctor at hotel FAQs
Can a doctor come to my hotel in Dubai?+
Yes — Aafiyah Care provides 24/7 doctor at hotel visits across every Dubai hotel. A British-trained, DHA-licensed GP arrives at your room in 60–90 minutes with a fully stocked medical bag, IV fluids and the ability to write prescriptions on the spot.
How much does a doctor at hotel visit cost in Dubai?+
Hotel doctor visits start from AED 750 for daytime and AED 1,200–1,500 overnight (11pm–7am). Most travel insurance plans (Allianz, AXA, World Nomads, SafetyWing, Bupa Global, Cigna) reimburse fully — we issue an itemised, insurance-coded invoice in English you can submit on return home.
How fast can a doctor get to my hotel?+
Most hotel calls in Downtown, Business Bay, DIFC, Marina, JBR, and Palm Jumeirah are reached within 60–90 minutes of booking — often faster late at night when traffic is light. Burj Al Arab, Atlantis, Madinat Jumeirah, Five Palm and similar resorts are routine for us.
Will the doctor speak English?+
Yes. All our GPs are British or EU-trained, fluent English speakers. Arabic, French, Russian and Hindi-speaking doctors are also available on request.
Can the doctor prescribe medication and arrange pharmacy delivery to my hotel?+
Yes — DHA prescriptions are written in-room and pharmacy delivery to your hotel can be arranged within 1–2 hours. The doctor's bag also carries common medications (antibiotics, antiemetics, painkillers, antihistamines, IV fluids, nebulisers) for immediate use.
Do you provide a sick note or fit-to-fly certificate for my travel insurance?+
Yes. DHA-recognised medical certificates, fit-to-fly letters, and detailed reports for insurance claims are issued the same day, in English, with the doctor's stamp and license number.
What conditions do you commonly treat at hotels?+
Food poisoning, travel diarrhoea, dehydration (IV fluids in-room), fever, sinusitis, ear infections, UTI, allergic reactions, migraines, back pain, sunstroke, hangovers, sprains and minor injuries. For chest pain, severe breathlessness or major trauma, go directly to A&E and call us afterwards for follow-up.
Do you visit short-stay rentals like Airbnb and serviced apartments?+
Yes — we visit any address in Dubai: hotels, serviced apartments, holiday rentals, Airbnb, residences and private villas. Just share the building name and unit number.
